The Batch & Bottle House

The Challenge.

Last September saw the launch of Batch & Bottle, a new range of pre-batched cocktails from our client, the luxury distillers William Grant & Sons. This selection of premium drinks – which are designed to be enjoyed at home as well as with friends – featured four of the world’s most iconic spirit brands, and needed a London launch event that appropriately reflected the superior nature of the product to a discerning audience of drinks connoisseurs.

We were briefed with creating an immersive event to showcase and launch Batch & Bottle, to celebrate a premium at-home drinking experience.

Our Solution.

We devised a visually stunning pop-up venue at the Truman Brewery in Shoreditch for one weekend only.

Four dedicated areas were created to bring to life one of the four cocktails in the range in its own unique space, from the cheeky Monkey Shoulder Lazy Old Fashioned to the curiously crafted Hendrick’s Gin Martini, the playful Reyka Vodka Rhubarb Cosmopolitan and the bold Glenfiddich Scotch Manhattan.

Live DJ sets ran throughout each night and guests were served snacks and nibbles that were carefully paired with each drink. Given we were operating in the midst of the pandemic, the size of the space and the four individual areas – some of which were set up outdoors – meant guests were able to enjoy the effects of the immersive experience while maintaining social distancing measures.

The effect was as compelling as we knew it would be, with hundreds of visitors enjoying the pop-up over the course of four days.

Original thinking, standout creativity and immersive pop-up all delivered, with a side of delicious cocktails and complimentary snacks. We’ll drink to that!
